Passive and Active Framing

Active framing is when the structure of the picture begins at the frame sand works towards the centre of the image,. In active framing everything will be in the image. You will find lots of details and the main parts of the image will be clear.

Passive is when the picture gives the illusion of starting in the middle and going outwards towards the frame. Passive framing shows the whole image and every detail.
